Children’s Design Studio

School children from 6 to 16 years old are invited to the Design Studio. Everyone is welcome to study irrespective of the previous experience in Arts and design. We assume that all children are talented. Our goal is to help you discover your talents!

The program of the Children’s Design Studio provides a comprehensive study of basic disciplines and decorative-applied and design techniques.

During the training, students master

Basic disciplines:

  • drawing;
  • painting;
  • composition;
  • color science;
  • history of fine arts and design.

Design and decorative-applied techniques:

  • paper plastic;
  • monotype;
  • macrame;
  • painting on glass;
  • painting on fabric;
  • floristics / phytodesign;
  • decoupage;
  • felting (felting);
  • thread / isonite;
  • modeling / sculpture / pottery;
  • beadwork;
  • embroidery (threads, ribbons, beads);
    Petrykivka painting;
  • puppetry and others.

Conditions of entry

Terms of admission, documents, benefits

For the child’s admission to the Studio, parents provide the following documents:

  • application for admission;
  • photocopy of the child’s birth certificate;
  • a photocopy of the passport of one of the parents (for concluding the Agreement);
  • 2 photos of the child (3×4 cm);
  • certificate from a doctor about the absence of contraindications for classes in the Studio (severe forms of scoliosis, allergies, eye diseases, etc.);
  • certificate from the educational institution where the child receives general education.

Tuition is paid at the rate of UAH 150 per lesson (1 hour 30 minutes).

Payers must keep receipts for payment until the end of the school year.

Benefits for admission to the Studio (subject to the relevant documents) enjoy the following categories of applicants:

  • children from large families;
  • children raised in a single-parent family;
  • orphans and semi-orphans;
  • children with disabilities;
  • Benefits are also being applied when more than 1 child from the family studying in the Studio, or in the Studio and College.

Attention! In case of a child’s illness during the educational process, if a relevant certificate from a doctor provided, payment for missed classes is not taken.

Preparatory Courses

Due to quarantine, classes are conducted online. You need to register at +38 066-766-90-67 in the telegram by March 29, 20. Write your name and surname, the specialty in which you want to study. Classes will be held every Monday from 15-00 o’clock.
 
Regardless of age, you have a chance to try yourself in the field of art, gain confidence and courage in the realization of your cherished dreams, and you can accomplish your expectations at the Preparatory Courses, which will help you enter Salvador Dali Art Academy!

The Course program includes:

  • basics of drawing;
  • basics of painting;
  • basics of composition;
  • basics of color science;
  • basics of computer technology;
  • decorative techniques

Duration of training at Preparatory Courses:

From 1 to 8 months

The program allows you to join the study process at any stage of preparation.

Class schedule for Preparatory Courses 2019/2020 academic year:

Classes are held every Tuesday from 17.00 to 18.30.

By studying at the Preparatory Courses, you have the opportunity to:

  • be prepared for the entrance creative competition;
  • increase the level of artistic skills;
  • gain knowledge that will help in the future to adapt to the conditions of student life.

To study at Preparatory Courses it is necessary to submit the following documents:

  • a copy of the child’s birth certificate (copy of her passport);
  • a copy of the passport of one of the parents;
  • 2 photos (3×4 cm);
  • certificate from school;
  • certificate from a doctor (about the absence of infectious diseases);
  • application (to be filled in when submitting documents).
Recruitment to the group continues every Monday from 16.30 – 18.00.

Professional Development Courses

Dear colleagues!

On the basis of ART ACADEMY there are Professional Development Courses for teachers at Institutions of Higher Education (IHE) in the following disciplines:
  • current trends in the philosophy of education in Ukraine and in the world;
  • pedagogical skills of the teacher of IHE (technologies of work in various systems of training, kinds of method , its creation and application, bases of testology, methods of individual and distance learning, textbook creation, methods of management of educational and scientific works, innovations in IHE, etc.);
  • current problems of Ukrainian-language communication in the activities of a teacher of free speech;
  • practical course of application of computer technologies at classes in IHE;
  • socio-psychological aspects of interaction of scientific and pedagogical workers with student youth (psychotype, conflictology, features of modern youth subcultures, etc.);
  • organization and methods of providing research activities in the Free Economic Zone.
Complete set of groups – 10-12 people. Classes are held in lecture-seminar form accompanied by computer presentations. Listeners are offered useful handouts. The course of practical training at the request of students includes mutual attendance of classes with discussion, preparation of scientific and methodological reports, participation in a round table and scientific – practical conference.

Types of courses:
  • Standard: 1 day / week. (6 academic hours), total – 96 hours;
  • Intensive: 5 days / week. (8 academic hours), total – 82 hours;
  • Weekend mode: 1 day / week. (8 academic hours), total – 82 hours.

Types of evaluation of students’ knowledge are Formative (current and intermediate) and Summative (final) assessment.
Current evaluation is carried out during practical, laboratory and seminar classes. It aims to check the level of readiness of the student to perform a particular work.  
Intermediate evaluation is carried out after studying the program material of each content module, into which the lecturer of the discipline divides its educational material. Intermediate attestation should determine the level of knowledge of the student from the program material of the content module (rating assessment from the content module), obtained during all types of classes and independent work. Forms and methods of intermediate certification of mastering the program material of the content module are developed by the lecturer of the discipline and approved by the relevant department in the form of testing, written control work, the result of practical or laboratory work. Acquiring by the student of the program material of the content module is considered successful if its rating is not less than 51 points on a 100-point scale.
Final certification includes semester and state certification of the student.
Semester certification is conducted in the form of a semester exam / review or semester test in a specific discipline.
  • The semester exam  is a form of final evaluation of mastering by the student of theoretical and practical material on academic discipline for a semester.
  • Semester test – is a form of final evaluation, which consists in assessing the student’s mastery of theoretical and practical material (performed by him certain types of work in practical, seminar or laboratory classes and during independent work) in the discipline for the semester.
  • Differentiated credit – is a form of evaluation that allows to assess the implementation and mastery of the student’s internship program.

Open Doors Day 2020

Do you dream of getting the most modern, most promising profession, discovering wide opportunities for employment, material wealth, doing your favorite creative work? Become a student of Salvador Dali ART ACADEMY!

From 2020, the Salvador Dali Academy provides entrants with a unique opportunity to study in two specialties at the same time, in the Ukrainian state or British programs of “bachelor”, “master” MBA – in Ukrainian or English. The Academy received this right after passing European accreditation and becoming a member of the British Council.

At the academy: we study raster and vector graphics, draw comics on graphics tablets.

We master video design, Web-design.

We start the computer game development course with concept art, study 3D modeling and visualization (Autodesk 3Ds-Max / Maya), ZBrush, as well as composing and texturing. We take a course in digital graphics and painting on graphics tablets.

We finish with 3D-animation – a necessary course for the Game-industry and animation.

The elite pedagogical staff of the Academy consists of outstanding doctors of sciences and artists of Ukraine as well as visiting professors from Germany, Italy, Poland, Georgia, Lithuania, Spain, Great Britain, Canada, and the USA. And thanks to high modern technologies of distance learning the number of teachers from different countries joining the educational process is constantly increasing.

STEP 3 Decide on the tools and method of project implementation (computer or classic drawing).

Felt-tip pens, pencils, ink, paints, ballpoint pens or computer graphics, etc.

STEP 4 Consider the proposed work samples according to your chosen speciality (click on ► in the first step in the block of the chosen speciality).

STEP 5 Choose the format of work A-4 (210×297) and decide on the composition of the work placement (horizontal or vertical placement).

STEP 6 Perform work on A4 paper (210×297) after the photo take a picture or scan and send it with the attached documents to the e-mail of the Admissions Office marked:

Master’s Degree Programme, II Higher Education
The Magistracy department trains specialists of the highest educational and qualification level in the industry

02 “Culture and Art” in the specialty 022 “Design”.

Forms of Master’s degree course: full-time, part-time.

Term of study: 2 years

Qualification:

Art – architectural environment designer, Lecturer;
Art – advertising and computer graphics designer, Lecturee;
Art – designer of clothes and accessories, Lecturer;
Art – style and decor designer, Lecturer.

Not only graduates of our ART ACADEMY, but also graduates of other higher educational institutions of Ukraine of III-IV levels of accreditation can study in a magistracy.

How to apply for Master’s Course?

Admission to the Master’s degree course in 2020

Admission to the Master’s degree course in 2020 at the ART of Salvador Dali Academy of Contemporary Art for the specialty 022 “Design”.

STEP №1. Be sure to register for the professional entrance exam

STEP №2. Record your motivational video interview (30-60 sec, MP4 format) in English on any gadget on the topic:

“Why I want to become a student of Salvador Dali Academy of Contemporary Arts and why I chose this (specify which) specialization?”

STEP №3. Upload your portfolio to the file sharer and send us the link. The files of the portfolio should be saved be pdf or jpg format

OPTION 1: For the Ukrainian master’s program, admission based on the results of the unified entrance exam (UEE) in a foreign language (an UEE certificate is submitted to the admissions committee) and a professional entrance exam (a portfolio is submitted to the admissions committee).

After completing the Master’s degree in the Ukrainian Master’s program is issued a diploma of the state standard.

OPTION 2: For the European Master’s program, admission without UEE (a foreign language is taught in an educational institution, for which a motivational video interview in English is submitted to the Admissions committee). In addition, you must pass a professional entrance exam (a portfolio is submitted to the Admissions committee).

After graduation, a European diploma is issued.

OPTION 3: Admission without UEE for parallel study in the Master’s program of the British Council. For the Diploma of the British Council, the Admissions committee is provided with a B2 First Certificate in English (FCE) (send an e-mail to the Admissions committee: art-dali@ukr.net scan or photo of both sides of the certificate)

Upon graduation, a diploma of the British Council is issued.

 In 2020 Salvador Dali Academy started providing entrants with a unique opportunity to study in two specialties at the same time, in the Ukrainian State and British programs on Bachelor’s and Master’s MBA degrees, in Ukrainian and English languages of instruction. The Academy received this right after having obtained European accreditation and becoming a member of the British Council.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED BY THE ENTRANTS TO THE ADMISSION COMMITTEE IN 2020

Create a package of documents and send scanned copies or photocopies of documents to E-mail:

  1. Electronic application (download).
  2. A copy or photocopy of an identity document.
  3. Copy or photocopy of the certificate of address registration of the person.
  4. A copy or photocopy of the taxpayer’s account card.
  5. Copy or photocopy of the document on education (if available on the date of documents submission).
  6. Copy or photocopy of the EIT certificate and results (if available on the date of documents submission).
  7. Photos for documents (color/ black & white) with an image that corresponds to the age of the entrant. 1 pc. – sent electronically. 6 pcs. – 3×4 to be available at the time of signing the contract.
  8. Vaccination certificate (form 063), fluorography. If it is necessary to create special training conditions, a copy or photocopy of the medical report in the form of primary accounting documentation is provided: 086-3 / о.
  9. Motivation letter in the form of a video interview (30-60 sec. Video), in which the entrant will tell why he chose this specialty and our institution.

The Ministry of Education and Science has amended the Terms of Admission to Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine. The relevant order, signed on May 4, 2020, was registered with the Ministry of Justice.

 

The dates of the introductory campaign in 2020 have changed – all dates have been postponed till August, 2020, taking into account the forecast of the epidemiological situation.

 

The Ministry of Education and Science has provided entrants with the opportunity to submit original documents by mail. It is also provided that entrants will be able to send scanned copies of the necessary documents by e-mail, putting a qualified electronic signature on them, and the documents themselves to deliver after the start of study process.
